Situated midway between Bowmore and Port Ellen, the Visit Scotland and AA Five Star Gold award Glenegedale House, has a prominent position with uninterrupted breathtaking views over the Mull of Oa and out to the Atlantic. Glenegedale house boasts four lovely, individually designed, en-suite bedrooms. Sumptuous fabrics, roaring fires and beautiful antiques evoke a sense of luxury and indulgence in both the morning room and the sitting room, solely for guest use.
There is a wealth of books, maps and local tourist information for you to browse through and Emma and Graeme are very happy to help plan your day to make the most of your time on our beautiful island of Islay.
Graeme and Emma were delighted when Glenegedale House was awarded the most Hospitable Bed and Breakfast in the West of Scotland by the prestigious Visit Scotland Thistle awards panel, showing their commitment and passion to providing a personal and memorable experience for every guest.
All four bedrooms have large and comfy beds with crisp white Egyptian cotton linen, flat screen TVs, tea tray with selection of teas and coffees from the Edinburgh Tea company, Highland Spring water, Highland chocolatier chocolates and White Company toiletries with a suite of large white fluffy towels.
Room Tariffs are from £90 to £160 per room per night, bed and breakfast for a maximum of two people sharing including complimentary tea and home-baking from 3:30pm until 5pm on the day of arrival. Single occupancy rates are available; please ask at the time of your enquiry.

Children over twelve years of age are welcome at Glenegedale House (provided they occupy their own room). Glenegedale House is a non-smoking establishment. If contacting us, in order that we might assist as quickly as possible, please remember to tell us the dates about which you are enquiring, the number of rooms required and the number of persons in the party.

As breakfast is renowned for being the most important meal of the day, we pride ourselves on making this a truly unforgettable dining experience and as such enhances our reputation for wonderful culinary skills.
Breakfast is served between 7.30am and 8.30am every day (earlier by prior arrangement).

AN CUAN SELF-CATERING
An Cuan (Gaelic for 'the sea') has four bedrooms upstairs one of which is a king size bedded room enjoying en-suite facilities of shower, WC and wash hand basin. The remaining rooms are one further king size bedded room and two twin bedded rooms. The main bathroom, upstairs, has shower over the bath, WC and wash hand basin. Downstairs the cloakroom has a further WC with wash hand basin.
A modern fully fitted kitchen with electric hob with oven; microwave; dishwasher; fridge/freezer and other smaller electrical equipment that a family would look for on holiday. The beautiful dining room is the perfect place to dine while enjoying magnificent panoramic views as you watch the sun go to bed in the west.
An Cuan has a large sitting room with open fire with magnificent sea views over Laggan Bay and beyond to Northern Ireland. The room boasts sumptuous seating and large TV. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble drier.
An Cuan garden is completely enclosed and has private parking. Prices range from ÃÂ£750 to ÃÂ£1200 per week.
